Finally, after 208 episodes, the most famous sitcom “How I Met Your Mother” has ended on Monday.
Throughout the last episodes, the show hinted at who the mother was and it had been completed with plenty of surprises of Ted Mosby. This show was created by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas and they had also served as frequent writers and executive producers.

How they knew the show would last

Carter Bays (co-creator):

When we came up with this idea, we thought that it was weird and it would run a long time. Though, it was our first show yet it went quite good.

Craig Thomas (co-creator):

It was supposed to doom but we were quite optimist. Thanks to God that we did not fail and it was too funny.  Besides, we were not given the permission to run it for 9 years yet we managed to make it through.

Pamela Fryman (director):

If you personally ask me whether I would be able to do what we showed in characters, I would probably say you no.  No doubt, this pilot project was so much special for us.

Josh Radnor (Ted Mosby):

I can never forget the feelings in the first episode with Ashley Williams and it was not different from other shows. Yes, I accept that it was slightly innovative and based on some new things but this was a really special show. I hope it would stick around for a long time.

How much impact guest stars had

Bays:

It was really memorable time for us when Britney Spears came in our show. Though, we were okay with ratings yet appearance of this international celebrity made us more famous.

Alyson Hannigan (Lily Aldrin):

What to speak of Jennifer Lopez. She was literally adorable. She called my little girl a coconut.

How they feel about the show’s catchphrases

Hannigan:

To me, the best and touchy phrase was “you son of a bitch”… “youuuu son of a beetch.”

 Harris:

I like Barney’s style of using the world “legendary,” because it was touchy and appealing.

How they spent nine years

Jason Segel (Marshall Eriksen):

It was great moment for me when I was watching my co-stars with their children. Though, I did not see how they born yet I saw them how were they grown.

Smulders:

We were dealing with each other like a family member and it was a very good environment. I would surely miss it.

Hannigan:

I had both of my pregnancies in this time period and I cannot forget the time I spent there.

Harris:

I will miss Wednesday. Yes, this day was pressurizing me as I got a work and I had to leave other things to get the jobs done.
