English paranormal investigator Jayne Harris claims that a doll that has been causing people symptoms of chronic pain is, in fact, possessed. According to the UK news site Mirror, a number of people have contacted Harris with claims that they experienced the symptoms of chronic pain and other supernatural occurrences after looking at the doll.
The doll, which is called Peggy, was sent to Harris by the previous owner. Harris owns and runs a small occult shop in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, called Haunted Dolls.
According to Peggy’s previous owner, the doll was responsible for nightmares, and nothing she tried had worked.
“She’d wake feeling hot and shaken. No matter where she moved the doll to in her home, the nightmares persisted,” Harris told Mirror in an interview. “She apparently sought the help of a local priest but two visits later and there was no change. In September she became quite ill with a fever and began suffering hallucinations.”
In a particularly dramatic occurrence, a woman who had opened a picture of the doll on her computer suddenly felt a significant temperature change in the room and a presence in it with her. After the woman messaged Harris on Facebook, Harris took the doll to an isolated area and demanded that she stop her tormenting. Harris says that everything returned to normal.
Harris says that some 80 people have come forward with claims that they have experienced things like intense headaches and stomach pain, computers freezing, and more after viewing a video of the doll that Harris posted on her YouTube channel.
According to the Shropshire Star, it is suspected that Peggy is possessed by the spirit of a woman who was born in London in 1946 and suffered from a chest-related malady. She also had a fear of clowns.
