‘Idol’ alum Scotty McCreery robbed in North Carolina

American Idol Scotty McCreery has been robbed. Officials of Raleigh Police Department said that the robbery took place at around 2:00 am midnight near North Carolina State University’s campus. It is said that three robbers entered in the property took wallets, electronics, and money from the victims. Police said that the victims were safe and there were no reports of injuries.

To inform his fans, McCreery wrote on his face book status that “Thank God my friends and I are safe and I am really thankful to Raleigh Police Department for promptly responding to the incident”.

It goes without saying that McCreery is the winner of 10 season. He was crowned as “American Idol” in 2011. His “Clear As Day” album has earned the status of Platinum and he is supposed to be the youngest and brightest singer of the United States.

His next play is scheduled at Bakersfield, California, on May 9.
